Small group this week was held at our place so I made some berry baked brie. Next time I will use puff pastry because Russell is a sucker for flakiness. This was a quick and easy appetizer that is perfect in our book since it is cheese & fruit! Serve with crackers or fruit like apples & grapes.
1 wheel brie cheese
1/2 cup mixed berry preserves (or any kind you’d like!)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll crescent roll dough out into rectangle & pinch seams together. Cut brie wheel in 1/2 and top with 1/4 cup of preserves. Place other half on top and spread remaining 1/4 cup on top of brie. Wrap crescent roll dough around the wheel and pinch seams so that filling won’t “ooze” out during baking! Bake for 11-17 min. until dough is baked through. Serve!
