Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta

This is a favorite of Russell’s- probably because of the Swiss cheese! This is a versatile meal because it is simple, ingredients most everyone will love, and it is yummy! This is my recipe so the measurements are far from exact but I’m doing my best with estimating! šŸ˜‰

Pictured before being baked-going to a family who just had a baby so I’m letting them bake it so that it will be hot šŸ˜‰

Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta

Egg Noodles (approx. 8 oz. or 1/2 bag)
2 chicken breasts, cooked and chopped into 1 inch cubes
6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled (you could also use chopped ham, or pancetta)
1 jar Alfredo sauce
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese, divided
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring water to boil and cook egg noodles. Add cream of chicken, Alfredo, 1 cup of Swiss cheese, pepper, and garlic powder to a small bowl and mix. Stir in chicken and bacon. Drain noodles and add to bowl and stir to combine. Place in greased 9×9 pan. Top with remaining 1 cup of Swiss cheese, and bread crumbs. ** Bake for 20-25 min. or until top is golden brown.

**or at this point you can wrap in “cling wrap” and then in foil and freeze for later! Let thaw in refrigerator the day you will use it and then bake for 45 min. or until heated through and top is golden brown.
