Chocolate Chip Pie

While on my friend Stacy’s blog the other day I noticed she had made Chocolate Chip Pie. This is something I have never tried before but it sounded yummy- and so I was intrigued! I used to LOVE chocolate chip “pizza” from Pizza Inn as a child and this somewhat reminded me of that… Either way it was tasty! Thanks for the inspiration Stacy, and original recipe that I used can be found here.

Chocolate Chip Pie

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Beat eggs until frothy, add sugars and vanilla. Melt butter and add to sugar and egg mixture. Stir in flour until well blended. Mix in chocolate chips.
Pour into pie pan and bake for 1 hour. Serve Warm.

  1. Oh yum!! Yours looks delicious! I think I will have to try this recipe out. The one I made came from a Nestle's Toll House cookbook, and called for nuts (which would have apparently ended up in the layer above the chocolate) but I don't do nuts in my choc. chip cookies. Yours looks scrumptious!
