Maple Snickerdoodles

Maple Snickerdoodles
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. real maple syrup
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
Preheat oven to 350. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon in small bowl. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg & maple syrup. Gradually add dry ingredients. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 min. Cookies will be cracked on top but look “gooey” in the middle still. Remove and let cool on wire rack. Enjoy!!
